The
2010 COSLA and Improvement Service Annual Conference
takes place in what is likely to be the prelude to a UK General Election and amidst the deepest economic recession in decades.The conference will give us the opportunity to debate the future facing Scottish Local Government and the wider public sector.
In light of the pressures building around local government, the conference will explore the scale and nature of the challenge and changes and seek to identify how we in local government can manage those challenges effectively. This theme will be the core theme of the conference.
